RR 11: The Walking Dead (Dead City) Series is the best of all walking dead series ever made
Dead City is the darkest and the deadliest series in the entire Walking Dead series. We finally see Nigan as a good guy which we wanted since the killing scene from the main series that was so disturbing that you can’t unsee it and feel disturbed every time you think about it. Because of the charisma and the screen presence of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, you want to see him more and you want to see him play the hero, not the villain.
The creator of the series kept trying to show why Nigan did what he did, and you have to be the fear in a scary world to survive. The character of Maggie seemed like it was pushed to lead when they made her the leader of Hilltop Colony, but the character gradually grew to deserve the title.
It is very interesting in this series how they came up with a villain worse than Nigan making this the darkest of all series. The direction is captivating and the curiosity of what will happen next keep growing. Two enemies getting together to beat the worst villain in the history of the walking dead is truly a creative idea. There is no place where the story gets slow. It looks more like a blockbuster movie than a television series in each episode.
The ending was an indication of sequel coming and I hope they are making it. The villain still lives, and the end seemed like a beginning. I’m pretty sure the next one will be even better.
