A New Era Begins: Why the New Business Central Logo Feels Like the Future

Microsoft has officially unveiled the new Dynamics 365 Business Central logo, and honestly, it feels like more than just a visual refresh—it feels like a statement about the future. The launch took place at Directions EMEA 2025 in Poland, where Microsoft showcased a completely modernized icon aligned with its broader shift toward connected, AI‑powered business experiences.

The moment I saw the new design, my first thought was: this is futuristic. It clearly carries the essence of Copilot and AI, and it’s almost as if the logo itself wants to say, “AI is not just an add‑on anymore—it is Business Central’s core identity.” Microsoft’s own messaging emphasizes deeper AI integration and a unified, intelligent platform—something the new logo represents beautifully.

If we think back, NAV barely changed its icon at all. In the old NAV days, consistency was the norm. But since the launch of Business Central, this is now the third icon refresh—and I genuinely believe this one will stay for a long time. Why? Because AI will stay for a long time, and this logo feels custom‑built for the era we’re stepping into.

As someone who works deeply with Business Central every day, I’m genuinely excited to start using this logo in training materials, project documentation, presentations, and workshops. It feels modern, meaningful, and reflective of where the product is heading. And yes, I’ll absolutely be following Microsoft’s official brand usage rules when displaying it.

If you want to add the new icon to your own materials, you can download the official logo directly from Microsoft’s brand/media kit, ensuring it’s used exactly as intended: Microsoft Dynamics 365 icons – Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

The future of Business Central is AI‑powered—and now, it finally looks like it too.
